Pilates Pilates is a series of physical movements and even more, a way of life designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Its effects are not only muscular but mental as well, focusing on healthy, deep breathing. This full-body workout increases strength and flexibility, particularly for the back and abdomen, while improving posture, balance and muscle control. A primary goal for Synergy is to continually challenge their students to take what they learn in the studio and apply it to their daily lives and activities as they become stronger and more centered. |
"I have seen more positive changes in my body in just over 2 months at Synergy than I have in years with other exercise programs or studios. " -Julie Dalton |

Vibro Plate The basic idea behind vibrational plate training is that with each vibration of the machine the body is forced to perform reflexive muscle contractions. Depending on the setting of the machine these muscle contractions can happen numerous times per second which causes an increase in muscle tone, response, strength, flexibility and stability. It has been found that while using vibrational plates as training tools the users experience an increase in circulation and therefore produce a greater amount of collagen while expelling a greater amount of toxins which causes a reduction in cellulite. This is considered more of a "cardio" class than the other classes we typically offer at Synergy. Please remember to wear your sneakers as some low impact exercises are included in the classes. End result of our Vibro Plate classes - get fitter faster and HOT for Spring and Summer! Other benefits include:* improves flexibility, mobility, coordination * rapid recovery after exercise * strengthens bone tissue * highly effective fat reduction * improves skin quality * stress reduction * increase in cardio vascular strength, endurance & stamina * creating a balance of body & mind |
